Your private day excursion from Marrakech to Essaouira begins at 8:30 AM when your English-speaking driver/guide picks you up from your accommodation.
During the journey, you will have the chance to see goats climbing the argan trees and visit a local cooperative run by Berber women where argan oil is produced.
Upon arrival, meet your local English-speaking guide and begin a guided walking tour of Essaouira.
Explore the charming Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its whitewashed buildings, colorful doors, artisan shops and traditional souks.
Continue to the Skala de la Ville, where you can admire the historic ramparts, old cannons and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Your guide will then take you through the atmospheric streets of the medina and explain the history, culture and traditions of this historic coastal city.
Visit the famous fishing port, where you can see traditional blue fishing boats and local fishermen bringing in their daily catch.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Essaouira is famous for its fresh seafood, but you can also choose from a variety of Moroccan dishes.
