    Day 1: Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Dades Gorges

    your 4-day desert adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel, riad, or accommodation in Marrakech. Travel southeast through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing traditional Berber villages and stopping at scenic viewpoints for photos along the way.

    Enjoy lunch in the historic village of Ait Ben Haddou, followed by a visit to its famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. This fortified village has featured in films such as Prince of Persia, Gladiator, and the TV series Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you can optionally explore Africa’s largest film studio. Then drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses to Dades Gorges, marveling at the unique “monkey fingers” rock formations and panoramic views before arriving at your hotel for the night.

    Day 2: Dades Gorges ⇢ Todra Canyon ⇢ Merzouga Desert

    After a hearty breakfast, follow the scenic Dades and Todra Rivers, lined with palm groves and Berber villages, to reach the dramatic Todra Gorge in Tinghir, renowned for its breathtaking cliffs. Continue your journey toward the Merzouga desert.

    On the way, your guide may suggest a stop at a traditional Berber shop, where you can try on Berber attire and take photos at no cost. Purchases such as scarves or souvenirs are optional, and the stop is mainly to highlight Berber culture. Upon arrival in Merzouga, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes at sunset and try sandboarding. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, savoring a delicious dinner and the magical desert ambiance under a star-filled sky.

    Day 3: Explore the Merzouga Desert

    Start the day early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the nearby dunes, followed by breakfast at your desert camp. Set out for a full day of exploration with a 4×4 SUV, visiting Berber nomads behind the dunes to learn about their traditional lifestyle and culture. Explore the hidden village of Mefis, enjoy Gnawa music in Khamlia, and visit the Lake of Birds if it is full.

    After lunch, transfer to your riad for check-in and some free time to relax, swim, or stroll to the nearby dunes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your riad, or opt to stay another night at the desert camp if you wish.

    Day 4: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Agdez ⇢ Marrakech

    Following breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech via the scenic Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley. Stop in Agdez for panoramic views of the lush palm-filled valley.

    Pause for a satisfying lunch in Ouarzazate before traversing the High Atlas Mountains again on your way back to Marrakech. Arrive at your accommodation, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable 4-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert adventure.

    How can I pay for the tour?

    Our payment process is simple and convenient. To confirm your reservation, a small deposit is required, which can be paid via PayPal, bank transfer, or Wise at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the first day of the tour directly to your driver/guide. You may pay in euros, US dollars, or the equivalent amount in Moroccan dirhams.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    If the booking is canceled 2 days or less before the scheduled tour, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price will be charged.

    Is the desert camp tent private?

    Yes, each tent at the desert camp is private and includes its own en-suite bathroom and toilet to ensure your comfort and convenience.
