    Day 1: Tangier ⇢ Tetouan ⇢ Chefchaouen

    We begin our journey with a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, passing the city of Tetouan along the way. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, we’ll pause to take in the breathtaking mountain views before entering the medina. Known for its Spanish-influenced architecture from the “Spanish Morocco” era, Chefchaouen charms visitors with its colorful artisan shops, vibrant squares, and rooftop cafés. Enjoy the evening at your Riad or stroll through the town while soaking in the gentle mountain breeze.

    Day 2: Chefchaouen ⇢ Volubilis ⇢ Meknes ⇢ Fes

    After breakfast, we continue our journey toward Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other picturesque Rif villages. Explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and delve into Morocco’s rich history before heading to Meknes for lunch. Here, we’ll discover the city’s historic medina walls, the impressive Bab el-Mansour gate, and the Moulay Ismail shrine. In the late afternoon, we drive to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Day 3: Exploring Fes – Guided City Tour

    Today we explore Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Our tour begins at the Royal Palace gates, followed by a visit to the historic Mellah, Morocco’s first Jewish quarter from the 16th century. Highlights include the Al Qaraouine University, the famous Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we visit various artisan cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 4: Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Azrou ⇢ Cedar Forest ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga

    We depart Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.” Next, we visit Azrou and its cedar forest, home to Berber apes in the wild. Continuing through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, we stop for photos and mint tea before reaching Midelt. From here, we journey to Merzouga and arrive at our desert campsite for the night.

    Day 5: Merzouga ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Dades Gorges

    After breakfast at a local hotel, we set off toward Ouarzazate, visiting Berber villages along the way. We explore the spectacular Todra Gorge and continue to the Dades Gorges, where we check in at a local hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 6: Dades Gorges ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou

    After breakfast, we travel along the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs,” stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival. We then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, known for its striking kasbah and as a filming location for Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones.

    Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Essaouira

    We cross the Tizi-n-Tichka Mountain Pass toward Marrakech and continue to the Atlantic coast to reach Essaouira, the “Pearl of the Atlantic.” After checking in at a local Riad, we watch the sunset from the historic Murallas walls. Dinner features fresh seafood, followed by an evening stroll through Essaouira’s peaceful streets.

    Day 8: Essaouira Guided Tour

    Explore the ancient city of Mogador, established by the Portuguese, with its blue-and-white medina, long beaches, and historic citadel walls. Overnight stay at a local Riad.

    Day 9: Essaouira ⇢ Marrakech

    After lunch at the port, we drive to Marrakech with minimal stops, arriving in the afternoon. Overnight at a local Riad or hotel.

    Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour

    A full-day guided tour of Marrakech takes you through its top attractions, including Jemaa el-Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. We’ll also explore Gueliz, Menara Gardens, and Majorelle Garden. After lunch at a local restaurant, you have free time to further explore the city at your own pace.

    Day 11: Departure from Marrakech

    Today, you will be transferred to Marrakech Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your 11-day Moroccan adventure.

    How can I pay for the tour?

    Our payment process is simple and convenient. To confirm your reservation, a small deposit is required, which can be paid via PayPal, bank transfer, or Wise at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the first day of the tour directly to your driver/guide. You may pay in euros, US dollars, or the equivalent amount in Moroccan dirhams.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    If the booking is canceled 2 days or less before the scheduled tour, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price will be charged.
