    Itinerary
    DAY 1: ARRIVAL ⇢ MARRAKECH

Your ten day Moroccan holiday begins the moment you touch down at the Marrakech airport. Our driver will be there to welcome you and provide a quick transfer through the bustling streets to your lodging. You will spend your opening night relaxing in a classic Moroccan riad.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH ⇢ ARGAN COOPERATIVE ⇢ ESSAOUIRA

Following your morning meal, we head west toward the Atlantic shores to visit the charming town of Essaouira. Along the route, we stop by a local Argan oil cooperative to discover the traditional extraction process and hopefully catch sight of the famous tree climbing goats. Upon arriving in Essaouira, historically named Mogador, the rest of the day is yours to wander. Discover the vibrant fishing harbor, stroll through the historic medina, and admire the ancient coastal defense walls displaying old cannons.

DAY 3: ESSAOUIRA ⇢ MARRAKECH ⇢ CITY TOUR

We make our way back to Marrakech today for a fully guided exploration of its top attractions. Marvel at the intricate Islamic designs of the gorgeous Ben Youssef Madrasa and the majestic 19th century Bahia Palace. The walking tour then weaves through the energetic market stalls of the medina, concluding at the world famous Jamaa El Fna Square right next to the towering Koutoubia Mosque.

DAY 4: MARRAKECH ⇢ HIGH ATLAS ⇢ AIT BEN HADDOU ⇢ DADES VALLEY

Leaving the Red City behind, we navigate the spectacular Tizi n Tichka pass high up in the High Atlas Mountains. Expect plenty of photo opportunities featuring dramatic peaks and traditional Berber settlements. Next is a visit to the UNESCO recognized Ait Ben Haddou, an iconic mud brick fortress featured in massive hits like Game of Thrones and Gladiator. After grabbing lunch in the cinema hub of Ouarzazate, we journey past the lush Skoura palm trees and the fragrant Rose Valley before checking into our accommodation in Boumalne Dades.

DAY 5: DADES VALLEY ⇢ TODRA GORGES ⇢ MERZOUGA ⇢ LUXURY CAMP

Today we push further south toward the mighty Sahara Desert. Our first major stop is the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you can take a peaceful walk beside the river flanked by towering red rock walls. Driving past the verdant oasis towns of Touroug and Tinjdad brings us to the edge of the Merzouga sand dunes. Here, you will swap the vehicle for a camel, trekking across the golden sands just in time for a spectacular desert sunset. We conclude the day at a premium desert camp, enjoying a hearty dinner and live Berber drum performances around a crackling fire under the stars.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA ⇢ NOMADS ⇢ KHAMLIA ⇢ MERZOUGA LAKE

Make sure to wake up early to catch the magical desert sunrise over the dunes. Once you have had breakfast, we set out on a 4×4 adventure around the Merzouga territory. The off road excursion includes viewing an old mineral mine and sharing a warm cup of mint tea with real desert nomads inside their woven tents to learn about their daily routines. We also visit Khamlia to enjoy the hypnotic rhythms of Gnaoua music played by residents of sub Saharan descent. Finally, we check out the seasonal Merzouga lake and a nearby palm oasis before settling into a cozy riad right by the sand.

    DAY 7: MERZOUGA ⇢ ERFOUD ⇢ MIDELT ⇢ CEDAR FOREST ⇢ FES

Saying goodbye to the Sahara, we pause in Rissani to experience its authentic local souk. Moving on to Erfoud, you will get a fascinating look at how fossil rich marble is carved in a local workshop. Our scenic drive then follows the lush Ziz Valley up to Midelt for a lunch break. Continuing north, we enter the dense cedar woods where you can photograph the playful Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. Following a brief stop in the alpine styled town of Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, we finally arrive in Fes for an overnight stay.

DAY 8: FES ⇢ MEDINA ⇢ SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Spend the entire day uncovering the secrets of Fes, the undisputed cultural and spiritual heart of the country. Your guided sightseeing begins with the grand Royal Palace Gate and a stroll through the Mellah, the historic Jewish district. We drop by a traditional pottery school and head up to the Borj Sud fortress for sweeping panoramic photos of the city. The highlight is walking deep into the ancient walled Medina, a sprawling UNESCO site housing the Chouara Tanneries and Al Quaraouiyine University, recognized as the oldest continuously operating university on earth.

    DAY 9: FES ⇢ MEKNES ⇢ VOLUBILIS ⇢ CHEFCHAOUEN

Our road trip advances to Meknes, a grand imperial city famous for the massive Bab Al Mansour gate and the sprawling Royal stables. A short drive away lies Volubilis, an impressive archaeological site filled with wonderfully preserved Roman mosaics and grand ancient archways. From there, we wind our way north up into the mountains until we reach Chefchaouen, the beloved Blue Pearl. You will have a free evening to photograph its striking blue washed streets and unwind at a comfortable local riad.

DAY 10: CHEFCHAOUEN ⇢ RIF MOUNTAINS ⇢ TANGIER AIRPORT

On your last morning, we travel across the picturesque Rif Mountains heading to the coastal city of Tangier. Based on the time of your departing flight, you can either enjoy a few more hours wandering the serene blue alleys of Chefchaouen or squeeze in a brief sightseeing tour around Tangier. We will then provide a smooth transfer to the Tangier airport, bringing your unforgettable Moroccan journey to a close.
