Morocco Itinerary 4 Days From Casablanca Itinerary
    Day 1: Casablanca ⇢ Rabat ⇢ Fes

The journey begins when you are picked up from your hotel or airport in Casablanca, followed by a visit to Hassan II Mosque, which is one of the biggest mosques in the world. After that, the drive continues inland for approximately 3.5 hours to Fes, since you will stop at the Royal Palace Gate once you arrive at your destination. The rest of the evening is free for you to either explore the medina or relax at your riad.

Day 2: Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Middle Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga Desert

Following breakfast, you travel south via Ifrane, which is often termed “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture, and then on to the Cedar Forest in Azrou, where Barbary macaques can frequently be found. Lunch is at Midelt, after which you cross Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass, then on to Ziz Valley with photo stops along the way. By evening, you reach the Merzouga Sahara, where a camel ride takes you to the dunes to watch the sunset. Overnight stay in a luxury desert camp with dinner, Berber music entertainment, and stargazing.

Day 3: Merzouga ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Todra Canyon ⇢ Dades Gorges

After departing from the desert, the next stop on your journey is Rissani, where you can visit its traditional souk, which is at its most vibrant on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Following this, you will travel to Erfoud, which is famous for its fossil workshops. Your journey will continue to the Todra Gorges, where you can trek through the canyon and have lunch. After this, you will proceed to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades and pass the “Monkey Fingers” rock structures along the way. After approximately five hours of driving, you will spend the night at a riad in the Dades Valley.

Day 4: Dades Gorges ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Marrakech

The final day begins with a drive to Kalaat M’Gouna in the Rose Valley, then through the Skoura palm grove to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the “Hollywood of Africa” for its film studios. Next up is the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous from films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. In the afternoon you’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, with stops for photos and lunch, before arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon — around 6 hours of driving total — where the tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or riad.
